R101 – R100 trim wheel

This 1920’s trim wheel was purchased many years ago from an auction at Cardington. It is believed to be a spare part for either the R100 or R101 airship.
It is constructed of a five spoke aluminium alloy hub joined to a pressed steel outer rim.
Condition is good and commensurate with an age of approximately 100 years old.
