Propellor tip – Royal Flying Corps – Canada
£475.00
This WW1 propellor tip has been carved and dated 1917 with three contemporary photos let into the surface. The photos are covered with what appears to be a celluloid film which has age related discolouration and cracking. The celluloid itself is held in place by hand made copper sheet frames which are then rivetted to the propellor tip. The images are of an unidentified aircraft and Camp Borden, Canada.
